World Pasta Day 2026 comes to Parma in the heart of the Food Valley

More than 25 years have passed since the first edition of World Pasta Day, the historic event launched in Naples that established 25 October as the date to celebrate the symbolic food of the Mediterranean diet. Since then, pasta has won its global challenge: world production has grown by nearly 94%, rising from 9.1 to over 17 million tonnes.

Parma is now preparing to host World Pasta Day 2026, the leading international event dedicated to one of the flagship foods of Made in Italy, scheduled for 27-28 October 2026 at Fiere di Parma. The event will bring together representatives of the global pasta industry, institutions, experts, academics and supply‑chain operators to discuss the challenges and opportunities ahead for the sector.
