Pasta in Switzerland: a steady growth
An Italian entrepreneur originally from Matino, in the province of Lecce, with a multifaceted career combining passion, craftsmanship, and entrepreneurial spirit, Kabir Pispico is the founder and president of the Swiss Pasta Makers Association (APS), an organization created to promote the culture of artisanal pasta in the Swiss Confederation and support industry professionals.
After moving to Geneva with his family in 2014, Pispico began working at a local pasta factory and later became head of pasta production at Manor, a Swiss department store chain. During this time, he deepened his knowledge of local dietary habits and Swiss products, incorporating local ingredients into his creations. In 2022, he founded Pispico Pasta, a company specialized in the production and sale of fresh pasta, beverages, and other food products.
