In this interview, Anzio Storci remembers the beginning of their agreement bound to a mutual advancement. A history of passion, respect and ageneral will to go on to grow together.
Mr. Storci, would you please tell us how the partnership between Fava and Storci began?

Mr. Anzio Storci
The very good business relationship with Mr. Enrico Fava in our youth years laid the foundations to this partnership. At that time we were both contributing to the realization of an important Barilla factory. The mutual respect and consideration have been growing since. In the meantime, I had established the current Storci Company (together with my sons. Michele and Simone) whereas Enrico (with his own sons) had made up his mind and entered the pasta machinery market with full implants. I was their natural choice when it came to the production of the head of the line: the press. This was the beginning of our partnership: an essential and functional agreement bound to a mutual advancement. The figures – more than 500 machineries installed all over the world – show the success and the appreciation of our work.
A strong bond is perceivable from your words. Is there a main theme even in the management of the two commercial businesses?
Sure. My relationship with Enrico Fava has taught me a great truth that I’m still convinced of: in a company people must always be the centre of attention. The training and motivation must be permanent features during the work experience, pushing the collaborators into doing their best in order to be ready to face the challenge of the markets.
What are the Group plans for the future?
We want to keep on producing very high quality level and technologically advanced pasta lines. There are several upcoming projects; last but not least the gluten-free one. That is a product addressed to a market segment which has significantly been increasing in the last few years. And the growth does not seem to come to a halt.
